With immediate effect AVA econ are able to offer our clients a complete turn-key solution for the recycling of fluorescent lamps containing mercury. Straight tubes, special shaped lamps, compact fluorescent lamps (CFL), high pressure mercury lamps (HQL) and even crushed glass fragments can all be processed in the AVA econ plant. Lead or soda-lime glass fractions as well as the remaining metallic parts are automatically cleaned and sorted within the plant. The mercury which is contained in the fluorescence generating powder is washed out of the system and then retrieved using our proven Thermal Desorption technology.
From 27th to 30th of October econ industries participated in the ENTSORGA Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany. Aside from our new stand design, many companies were attracted by our redesigned product portfolio. The detailed clarifications of our scope of supply together with the individual case studies attracted special attention. From our side the trade fair was looked upon as a complete success. New contacts were made and many exciting opportunities for future Turn-key plant deliveries were identified and discussed. Since AVA econ are a regular participant in the ENTSORGA, this also allowed us the pleasure to meet up with old and satisfied customers.
For oil based waste treatment an AVA VacuDry Unit has recently been delivered to the U.K.. The photo shows the core of the plant - a vacuum evaporator HTC-VT 12.000 operating at 400°C heating temperature - during installation.
